Let's recommend some guitar string companies
In light of recent events, lets make a list of trustworthy manufacturers of guitar strings. Bonus points if they are from a full democracy according to the Economists democracy index.

What recent events
They introduced a new line of strings using Ai generated music, denied that it was AI, deleted everyones' comments, uploaded 'proof' it was written by a human that had further inconsistancies (not the same notes, tempo fluctuating), claimed it was just AI mastering which was clearly a lie and then finally admitted it like 3 weeks later. Ernie Ball! Just hooked up some dope Low G ukulele strings
I've always used Ernie Ball Super Slinkys on my electrics, and now I'm afraid to try anything else. They've always been great.
I try different things on my acoustics, usually Dadarrios, but sometimes Ernie Ball Earthwoods, or Martins. I've been getting into nylon string stuff lately, and trying different things, haven't settled on a favorite, but I like ball ends. I hate tying strings, like a caveman.
I've used Super Slinkys for the longest time too but the past few years I've been using some DR strings and they're pretty good too. I've been using the black and red coated ones though but they sound great.
Cobalt Slinky Is great for my nickel allergy :)
I live and die by Cobalt Slinky. Nothing like a fresh set of Cobalts.
They'd be my go-to if I lived in the US.
I'm pretty sure they're available outside the US as well.

Stringjoy has been the most economic way to get great strings for me. Absolutely love them.
Same! They’re fun to play and the ones I got feel like they encourage precision. So light, great tone.
Elixir has been my string for decades, though lately I’ve been going back to GHS which is what I used when I first started playing.
Pyramid Strings
TIL that Italy is a "flawed democracy". I have Aquila strings on most of my acoustic instruments. Their synthetic gut strings are as close to the real thing as it can get, and they are quite affordable. The caveat is that "New Nylgut" strings are literally unplayable for about the first three days.

I'm probably going with Rotosound when I get through last packs of D'addarios.
I actually hear more hype around them from bass players, and I haven't changed the strings on my one bass in a while so maybe I need to get on that.
I swear by d'addario nyxl, specifically 11-52s. Most durable strings for people who are lazy like me, and perfect for my extreme metal needs xD. Nice thick tone.
I love them, but D'addario seriously pissed me off with the AI thing, hence this post.
