Why would "NO" join the opposite side?

The two readings I see are:

PERVERT NO DOGS CANCER IN HOUSE

and

PERVERT CANCER NO DOGS IN HOUSE

1

You know when someone goes into home depot and buys a whole bunch of letters like this, the cashier should really just take a minute to check with the customer like are you using these to write some crazy ass message on your white van? Immediate intervention.

13

Surprise: Not a gunowner. But only because they learned guns and bullets have components that contain carcinogens.

2

okay let me get this straight. or gay. or whatever. dude got cancer from his dog sticking his dogs nose up his dogs butt and then his butt, and then he got cancer. i seen what they two do with their noise and tongue and butt together.

he got like 100 times more cance than me

Parking in the disabled spot with the toolbox in the bed and this wild message tell me there's probably an impairment, but not a physical one.

19

You never know. My dad has been a life long handyman but he also has MS. His body still works pretty damn well considering his age but that's only until he gets too warm and his legs suddenly stop responding. He can still do most of the things he used to do just only in short stints. However, prolonged physical exertion leaves him unable to walk.

There are a lot of handicapped people who will look perfectly fine to the average person but may have a limited ability to remain fully physically abled for more that short periods of time.

The driver of this vehicle pours out his whole pocket of pennies on the table at Dennie's, licks them one at a time and turns them face up.

Is that not how everyone pays for their Grand Slam?

No problem, just remember not to lick any dog butts on your way out.

It's a sub on the orange site. Enjoy.

3

That just raises FURTHER questions!!! What is the orange site? Is that like a prison? And what does BDSM have to do with things?

Blessed be thy cashless transaction; though, perchance to pray for a commune.

Based on the level of thought and effort that went into his messaging, I'd bet this guy got diagnosed with colon cancer and he's correlating it with the time(s) he fucked his dog that also had colon cancer.

"Why yes, I eat only home smoked meats and feed the smoked meat scraps to my dog. Why do you ask?"

Somewhat more charitably...

Causal misattribution.

They both got cancer because they both eat meat with too much of some kind of carcinogenic toxin in it, (or waaay too much red meat in general), because they are both poor and live in a polluted area or at least area with poor food standards.

That also correlates with the ignorance, but still an attempt to craft an explanation: never had the chance to get well educated, else they'd know cancer is not ... contagious, broadly transmissable.

Poor dumbass tried to spell 'Prevent' and ended up with 'Pervert'.

else they'd know cancer is not ... contagious, broadly transmissable.

I read an interesting NYT article the other day about the discovery of a high rate of skin cancer in catfish in a lake bordering Vermont and Quebec. By looking at the DNA of the catfish and of the tumors, scientists discovered that the DNA of the tumors didn’t resemble their host like you’d expect, but did resemble the tumors found on all the other fish. They realized they were looking at the first transmissible cancer found in fish. The article noted that contagious cancer has also been found in Tasmanian devils, clams and, yes… dogs.

5

That... is indeed interesting.

I was vaguely aware that... there are some known instances where cancer actually is transmissable, but usually only in the context of pregnant mother to child.

But... this... ... well, shit.

... I guess its not actually possible to 100% rule out 'my dog gave me colon cancer.'

Still seems quite unlikely... but maybe not strictly completely impossible?

Is there any evidence that red meat causes cancer, or just ultra processed meat/food?

5

Red meat isn't the problem, it's the fuzzy greenish-blue meat you've got to worry about.

1

there's evidence that everything causes cancer, but like i live in california

Not myself a doctor, but, basically yes?

https://health.clevelandclinic.org/link-red-meat-cancer-need-know

Cancer is not... one thing.

It is a huge family of diseases that... work in the body in very similar ways, but ... more or less, each different kind of tissue in your body has different things that are either known to, or are strongly suspected to increase the likelihood that a cancer will develop in them.

(Not counting 'so i accidentally bathed in the light of the demon core' or something like that.)

Anyway, again to the best of my not an expert understanding... you have to have a considerably red meat heavy diet, for your chances of colon cancer to rise.

7
aussie.zone

Red meat is ‘probably carcinogenic’

Depending on cooking method

Processed meats are carcinogenic Always

Checks out

I know charcuterie is bad, and smoked meat is horrible... Actually, yeah, fair, that's most of the ways I can come up with for heavily processing meat. I guess minced meat is fine?

Looks like anything with sodium nitrate, like bacon. Sodium nitrate reacts with the protein to form DNA damaging nitrosamines

It's not the point at all, but can dogs be poor? Like, their human can be poor, but does that then apply to the dog too? Applying a financial status to a dog feels weird, it's not like it can open a bank account.

Maybe dogs can't be wealthy, but some eat/live really well.

4

I mean strictly speaking, yes, it is odd to describe a dog directly with human socioeconomic descriptors.

But yeah, I meant it as 'the dog is owned by a poor human'.

3

What's the bet a certain someone in a certain white Chevy pickup had a dog die from cancer a while ago and they themselves recently had a battle with testicular cancer, and there's things a doctor never wanted to hear or say as they tried to convince the certain someone in a certain white Chevy pickup that, "no, cancer cannot be transmitted from dogs to humans."

29

"Dogs get cancer at 10x the rate of you and me, because dogs lick their balls and eat their turds. I did a decade of yoga to teach myself to lick my own balls, and then I got pervert butt cancer. NO DOG IN HOUSE!"

I just read the top and the bottom of the image...

I was going to say 'but you can argue with schizophrenia!'... and then I realized well that wouldn't actually achieve anything now would it.

8
sp3ctr4lreply
lemmy.dbzer0.com

Ahah, thats more ... dissasociative personality disorder, split personality, multiple personality.

Schizophrenics have other voices in their head, but they treat and experience them as alien, not them, they're often antagonistic toward the other 'people', in there, get angry that they can't not hear from them.

DPD?

Such people usually view themselves as essentially a container for multiple 'people', whom they all usually do view as 'themself'... they just have multiple 'themselves', that they would actually tell you can all work together to achieve something.

4

You are totally right. It should be “Together, I can beat DID” 😂

'Polite Sex'.

nirvana is kind of obliteration though, no? dissolving all boundaries of ego and reuniting with the oneness of the world kinda shit

Fun fact: there actually is a transmissible cancer in dogs. But it can only pass to dogs since it is dog cells.

So you are saying I should not put dog cells inside of me. Got it.

Actually I think they're saying the opposite. Well not that you should, but rather that you can without fear of "dog cancer turd".

You know what? I'm with this guy. Think of just the gnarliest hentai that is very specifically banned in China AND Japan. The kind of art that is Eldritch in it's total, psychotic perversion. Imagine, if you can, a mind MORE evil than Epstein.

That is what I think of cancer. And I'm being kind.
