Why the fuck does the Chronic part need to be in Depression?
Been having a great week, all things considered, and this scum sucking dick wad of a brain has to be all ooeeewwwhhh my chemicals.
Fucking bastard. Who decided Chronic should be a part of this Depression thing? I want to speak to their manager.

The good part is that you're self aware enough to recognize it's just wonky chemicals. It doesn't help much, but it's pretty cool still.
I hope you feel better soon.
There's a certain satisfaction and feeling of pride in being able to recognise, "I feel like shit but that doesn't mean anything, it's just chemicals." Now if the next thought was something other than, "What? Oh, no, we'll continue feeling like shit, of course. Just because we're self-aware doesn't mean we can actually influence the chemicals", that would be swell.
What you've just spoken is such a visceral truth. I can pull myself out of a shallow funk with the "silly chemicals" argument, but they often like to fight back and dig deeper holes.
