I worked with a guy who rode one from the bus to the office. He got hit by a car, he's fine, by someone who didn't check the cross walk before turning right on red and got all indignant about him zooming by "on that thing"

I've put over 2k miles on mine. I'd say they're comparable to bikes in terms of danger. On one hand you're vulnerable to it failing and throwing you off, on the other hand your bodies more free to react to a fall and catch yourself.

Either way the main danger for both is from cars, and I'd rather get hit by a car on the my one wheel then a bike. If I get hit on my one wheel I think I'd probably roll off the hood and maybe even cushion the hit with my arms, on a bike I think I'd get tangled up and possibly ran over.

In any case, it feels like a man who uses a blender as a travel mug already has a tenuous grip on existence at best.

The only problem with these are potholes and curbs.

It looks like a OneWheel but it's hopefully a knockoff
