I kinda like these, much better than driving but I do feel like a lot of these people are going to be killed or injured at some point.
In any case, it feels like a man who uses a blender as a travel mug already has a tenuous grip on existence at best.
Lol almost everyone I've seen on these things has that kinda energy.
I worked with a guy who rode one from the bus to the office. He got hit by a car, he's fine, by someone who didn't check the cross walk before turning right on red and got all indignant about him zooming by "on that thing"
Yeah I mean unfortunately a lot of the risk is completely not the fault of the riders here.
I mean cross walks are for pedestrians. He should have been in the road, where he'd be more visible

The only problem with these are potholes and curbs.
I've put over 2k miles on mine. I'd say they're comparable to bikes in terms of danger. On one hand you're vulnerable to it failing and throwing you off, on the other hand your bodies more free to react to a fall and catch yourself.
Either way the main danger for both is from cars, and I'd rather get hit by a car on the my one wheel then a bike. If I get hit on my one wheel I think I'd probably roll off the hood and maybe even cushion the hit with my arms, on a bike I think I'd get tangled up and possibly ran over.
Hmmm interesting I definitely would guess it's more dangerous. Not least because some of them can go quite a bit faster than a bike.
I wonder if there are stats yet or if it's too early.
Yeah, I have the pint, which is the small model that caps out at around 15 mph, but mostly I stay at around 12-13 and bikes pass me pretty often.
The larger models can go up to 25 mph though which I wouldn't feel safe at.
I find it most impressive that he's riding a black hole.
