What is this pollinator? (SOLVED)
This lil creature was very fuzzy and was hopping flower to flower. At first I thought baby hummingbird but couldn't find any photos that looked like it. Quite the large snoot on it too. Thanks for the help!

A hummingbird hawk-moth, in my laguage the are called "bufaforats", hole blower.
Wow you are quick! While it does look similar, I see on the wiki page that they are located in "Eurasia", this was taken on the Northeast coast of the US.
Here in Spain I see them all summer in my backyard, the colours are not as bright but they are the same kind of moth, probably a different species.

The last time I tried opening
yourdictionary.comand it was prohibited, too...Here I would ask whether the author of the article, Beatriz Moisset, would be able to write this article in the first place, if they would be limited in knowledge the same way, too. Or would the website's owner/staff, who configured the restrictions, be able to configure it without any knowledge available for them. Not only that, but these people darken the name of the ineffably magnificent person, Beatriz Moisset, who has already passed away I read...
In other words, this seems nazi, fascistic, narrowminded, and simply disgusting and sorrowful... To not make any request to that domain in the future I also added it my blocklist, and I won't recommend that website to anyone I know.
I had one of these in the garden the other evening (Canada East Coast). Managed to get a few fuzzy pics. Also got a [wiki] Wasp Mantidfly this evening which was another bonus.
Nice catch there. Should use video myself more often to record findings. I tend to upload mine to iNaturalist with our 4 y/o daughter. Teaching her not to be afraid of bugs which pleases the misses, who yelps at the site of em, when she runs up with a new founding ;)

Very nice, I've been doing the same with my daughter, she's 9 now and has a great respect for nature and it's inhabitants. Keep it up!

That name just screams "we don't know what it is, but it's probably one of these three things"
In German it's called Taubenschwänzchen (little pigeon tail).
We had a giant honeysuckle bush and they would swarm it. It was pretty crazy to watch.
I know it says solved I just think these guys are so cool!
