You don't even have to be good at what you do to get these jobs. They're just jobs for connected people.

Want to be president? Chair of the Federal Reserve? Run the DHS? Be on the board of directors of some multinational conglomerate?

Yeah, you can be fucking stupid as a bag of rocks - just make sure you kiss the ring when asked.

If you have money and swear loyalty to Trump, you get a job in his government. Those are the only qualifications.

It's how every fascist dictatorship has worked and it's why they tend to fall apart in under a decade on average. Narcissists are extremely predictable and therefore easy to manipulate, so incompetence people easily end up in seats of power they cannot handle properly.

No wonder why they seem so incompetent. They can't even do their own 9/11 if they wanted to like the last republicans that stole the election. Instead they gotta shoot their own guy in the neck, then make his corpse sit in the cuck chair, while sobbing about how he was some kind of shovel faced hero for basement dwellers with no father figure.

Yup, it's been demonstrated time and time again how easy it is to ride trump's meat and end up getting rewarded for it. An administration of meat riders who circumvent any prerequisite of competence or merit could not hope to ever achieve any of the ambitious fascist goals they would like to because they are ultimately all just acting in their own self-interests. Establishing a white supremacist ethnostate requires coordination and unity which they all lack, and trump doesn't actually care about any goals other than making everyone kiss his feet. The second that someone criticizes the narcissistic leader, they're gone.

Ha, that's a funny joke. Is this a satire site?

It's not? Odd..... surely someone else is reporting this.

Yep, it's real. Source

I've said/felt before that the gaming community is often a microcosm and changes often occur first in the gaming community before society at large. Think GamerGate, Epstein, DRM, DLC, subscription models, enshittification, etc etc

Now we're just blurring the lines. How in the what? I would've thought if this was even a thing, Musk, Slopya, Scam Altman, Cuckerberg, "no introspection" Andreesan, or any of the rest of the Nerd Reich would be involved. Why the xbox CEO?

(Right after a bunch of layoffs, some of my community being affected, is quite ironic. Or depressing. Both.)
