⬆️ The more we do that, the more creators will move to other platforms, this is truly the winning move.

What other platforms? From what I've heard there isn't any other viable, quality platform. YouTube effectively a monopoly

There is no competitor, not on the same scale. There are however initiatives that matter. Platforms created by YouTube creators unhappy with YouTube policy like https://nebula.tv/ and https://www.2ndtry.tv/ ; open-source non-profit developers created PeerTube for example https://peertube.tv/ ; there are competitors in live streaming like Twitch, competitors in professional video hosting like Vimeo. Obviously that is not a one-stop shop like YouTube and a lot of those competors operate under the same laws; but the more traffic those platforms get, the more likely a creator is to (also) post there.

I've been saying for years that query syntax in big name searches doesn't work or only works sometimes. It's awful and super useless.

A couple of days ago, I had to look outside of YouTube for song mixes from before 2022 so I wouldn't end up with that AI-gen crap that's flooding that web right now.

I reamember hearing youtube/google made searches worse so you have to watch twice the ads. Idk if its true but sure looks like it

It has a lot of content that isn’t available anywhere else. Sometimes the best option is still shit.

Psst, invidious is a better YouTube frontend, try it. Still, it uses YouTube, and that's bad in my opinion.
