I haven't known many animals or birds that have hated "all men" or "all women". I have known a few that have been skittish about certain types of men or women who probably resembled people who previously abused them. If your supposition is that there are animals who are only bothered by men, but none that are only bothered by women, I think you would be wrong although it may skew to more men than women as do many other abuse metrics.
My wife's dog doesn't like people ... any people. She's scared of us if we put on a hat, or it's dark, or she's just not feeling it for some random reason.
Meanwhile, my dog only likes me and one old man who lives in our village. She barely tolerates my wife, will nip other women, and be even more aggressive to men.
The joys of rescue dogs. We knew what we were signing on to, but it's a lot of work.
alt: a bird that bites only woman according to a sign has implissitly bitten a man. There is also a transgenderflag with the text: "it was this moment that she realised she was actually transgender. Thank you bird for helping her realize her true self"
Dogs react to the subtle changes in behavior of their handlers.
Find a dog owner that's afraid of women. One that pulls the leash away at the sight of them, that tenses up and holds their breath and walks faster every time they get close. Then you'll find a dog that "just doesn't like women".
My daughters dog hated her father. Wouldn't stop barking at him. She didn't hate him, she moved in with him. She has no issues with men. I think you're forgetting dogs actually have autonomy and instincts. Dogs are capable of sensing danger. There are some dogs who don't necessarily hate all men, but they can instantly spot the dangerous ones.
I've raised my dogs since they were four weeks old so they're fine with everyone. My cat on the other hand was a rescue. I got him when he was almost 2. He's 9 now. He's perfectly fine with male guests and will let them pick him up, pet him, whatever. As soon as he hears a female voice or someone enters the house without taking their shoes off he hides and won't come back out for hours.
The running theory is he was kicked by a woman. When I got him he was covered in scratches and scabs from fighting other cats with a notch missing from his ear.
Trust the animals, they can sense things we can't.
My aunt had a dog that "didn't like kids" that liked me just fine and another aunt's cat didn't like anyone that would come cuddle with me. My last roommate's dog adopted me as her primary owner. My little dog keeps a very small pack, and in 2 days bonded with my girlfriend more than he bonded with my ex of years.
I think some dogs are afraid of types of people. I was a dog foster mom for about a decade, we got dogs who were poorly socialized or just generally sheltered socially so they might be wary of people with darker skin upon meeting I never had a dog who I felt was “racist” like hated POC just like “oh this human is unusual” at first but I DEFINITELY had dogs who HATED men, they were placed at my house because no men lived in my home. One of my current dogs doesn’t really like women, he will choose men over women every time even if it’s a strange man versus me, his mom lol it feels a bit rude but he came from a home where his mom was really mean, granted he doesn’t hate women he strongly prefers men.
I think it just goes back to the same domestic violence stats we all know, those dogs hate men because men are more likely to beat the dog or be violent towards people the dog loves and the dog develops a fear. I’m sure there are some dogs who hate women in the same way it just seems a lot less common in my experience.
There’s been a few studies that show dogs are more wary around men for a multitude of reasons. I linked one such study in another reply.
It’s also theorized that dogs bond with women better than men:
Multiple ethnographic accounts describe women's special relationships with dogs, cross-culturally (Cummins 2013). In fact, a remarkable finding that dogs' gaze increased human oxytocin levels (Nagasawa et al. 2015) could be due to effects on women (Kekecs et al. 2016). Women might have greater influence than men in dog-human coevolution, and we may be the first to investigate gendered dog-human coevolution explicitly. We hypothesize that dogs' affiliation with women has stronger effects on mutual utility and dog-personhood than does affiliation with men.
Props for the source. I was gonna chime in anecdotally that my rescue dog is both racist and a bit sexist, and generally extremely protective of us and wary to the point of aggressiveness around strangers. But science is better!

I've met cats, birds, AND dogs that get aggressive and hostile toward women o.o;
When my best friend was bitten by that parakeet she felt extremely validated though.

The gender-affirming misogynistic parrot!
Strangely, this is not the first time have heard of a parrot doing this. I guess you can lie to yourself, but the parrot still sees all

That too!
My friend in high school had a dog who didn’t like women.

I didn't know dogs not liking men was a thing
I think it's mostly owners projecting their own feelings onto fhe dog.
(Correct me if I'm wrong).

Huh. I really forget how smart animals are sometimes.

It’s true! There’s something about how dogs perceive humans’ motions and what makes them nervous.
