I remember Reddit had u/ItsJesusAgain, a username every brazillian redditor knew.

Maybe not a user but I like to think Sandy is the unofficial horse of the fediverse. Everyone loves Sandy.

There are a couple that have become famous for me at least, as i keep seeing them here and there, one is just because of their over the top name, which i ironically cannot remember at the moment

Someone spammed DMs to basically everyone calling themselves “Nicole the Fediverse chick” along with their photo (actually I got this a couple of times). But it appears the sender wasn’t Nicole and they just wanted fediverse people to find/harass her IIRC.
Oh. I first heard she was someone who "sent welcomes to the fediverse to every new user". This is rather surprising.

Hah. Apparently the Lemmy client I switched to a few months back doesn't show your username in the cool font. That's why I stopped noticing you around. Good to know you're still around! You're one of the very first users I took notice of after I joined.
