He can pay tribute to whatever he wants. It’s not what they mean to you or me, it’s what they meant to him.

That said, Kevin Smith hasn’t done anything great in 20 years. I actually liked Jersey Girl, and I guess Clerks 3 was decent. But the second one was the perfect send off.

Clerks 3 is the only movie purchase I truly regret. What a fucking abysmal movie, I couldn't even finish it.

It tried to wrap the series up with a bow, but I felt like Clerks 2 did that well enough, and between the two of them, had the better ending.

I didn't enjoy it but it sure was sad as fuck I wasn't expecting that. About the only thing I found funny was Elias turning to satanism and his outfit progression through the movie.

I remember him talking about how absolutely great the movie was while editing it. And everyone who saw is was cry laughing. I think i watched 20min of the movie and thought: wow, clerks reall was such a lucky lucky lightning in a bottle.

I actually do love jersey girl. Despite it getting dumped on by his fans. Clerks 2 was a great sendoff and knowing she dies in 3 ruins it. So I just pretend 3 doesn't exist.

Reboot was meh but I loved the part of the girls lusting over Chris Hemsworths body

Red state was good. I watched 10 minutes of yoga hosers and turned it off. Haven't seen tusk
