That was my first record player!! Its decent.

Everyone will tell ya. Keep speakers off the same surface of turntable. Keep backs of speakers away from walls. You need more spacing side to side between speakers unless you listen from 2 ft away. Angle them if needed.

If your room limits this, use headphones.

As an audio enjoyer, speakers are far better, if you take time to setup your room properly. Cool furniture !

Heck yeah, agree with this! Speakers can vibrate the table and affect the sound through vibrations in the stylus.

Do speakers close to the wall still have the same affect of not in the corners or ported in the rear? Maybe that's less of a concern. My music/movie setup is in limbo right now. But previously I had bass traps or some sound deadening behind L&R in the corners. Surrounds were wall mounted but not in the corner fully.

I do have some wall mounts for the speakers that I’ll be putting up soon, I just got everything moved off of the bookshelf it was on before.

Ah thanks never heard of this. Looks interesting, so going to find it to watch next movie night! 👍

In the before times, people would get wood planks and cinder blocks and make shelves. Wall-o-vinyl.

Find a construction site. Avoid cameras. Tariff free.

Time for a trip to IKEA 😰

No, a Kallax won't look as good as this, but you don't want your future collection limited by lack of space 😄

It can make some noise when I want it to. Speakers have lights in them which is nice but, that wasn’t a consideration when buying.

I am currently experiencing this problem and trying not to overplan my next storage solution, or I’ll be compelled to fill that space too quick and I have no restraint.

Got a new console so I could fit more vinyl but I underestimated and already need a bigger one | Spyke
