Had the court hearing for my name change! Still have to do all the things that follow once I get the form in the mail, but I'm glad to have that step completed.
My week's been fantastic, thanks for asking! I've put on eye liner and mascara for the first time and... wow! I can't believe how long I've been childishly bouncing around and gigging after seeing myself with this (rather minor) change. 💖
I have been doing the same, the new clothes make me so cute!!! Hopefully i can figure out make up in the future
I've found some tutorials on YouTube by Alexis Blake; she doesn't go into too much detail, but I liked them as a start. Maybe I'll convince someone IRL to give me some tips and feedback, once I feel comfortable asking.
I'm finally 100% out of the closet! No more boymoding for me, ever! My Poppa, who is a 90-year-old lifelong christian, was the last to find out yesterday, and he took the news shockingly well. Didn't use she/her pronouns, or my chosen name, but he didn't disown me, so I'm taking it as a win. Now I can get my ears pierced!
Well, the work week was long, and gosh the team building exercise was awful.
Between dishonest people, cheaters, misogyny, sexual innuendos...
Anyway, the week slightly better. Did some pen&paper again this week. Played with some stranger I've met for a gaming event and ended up on fortnite (never knew there was so much mods).
And today, I've played with a friend on a new game.
Bought some boots.
Another shameful event. My father saw my feminine underwear and sports bra. (Why do you have to the bathroom : it wasn't something you could see easily that the small window was open because the shutters were closed. He closed the window when not asked... Because basically I was hiding them there from the rest of the basket so they could dry without the rest.)
Anyway, no questions were asked. I prefer this weird limbo state before my coming out in a few days.
I've been living with my parents since I'm divorcing my wife (technically I live in a small studio in their backyard my father built himself -except for wiring- when grandmother was sick with Alzheimer's.)
Its been great but anxiety is a bitch!
