I'm sorry for being auty about this, but I'm genuinely curious about the "real cat" bit.

Has she ever been accused? That notch on her ear is pretty much confirmation that nothing I ever posted about her is gen ai.

I'm not trying to be confrontational as much as I'm genuinely asking a question.

I’m so sorry for the confusion! /gen

Like the other commenter said, I meant only that she looks like a grown up instead of a wee fuzzy baby. She reminds me of my own cats who looked like little lint sprites for a long time then suddenly looked grown. Only meant as a compliment /gen /pos

I assume "real cat" as in no longer a kitten. Like a term of endearment: "all grown up like a real big cat!"

We've had our cat for 14+ years now and he's the same way. Always presenting his butt to us, always sitting just nearly out of reach, doesn't like to be picked up. He does love chin and cheek scratches though and I've even managed to rub his belly a few times as he does his dramatic, drawn out leg/body stretches.

I think I'm winning him over!

There must be something to that, cause furry is almost the exact same.

Pat her butt, get bit (noted). Then rubs her head against my wrist pretty much asking for pets, then bites again! Like what do you want‽
