Adding Thread/Matter to existing setup

I'm looking to add Thread/Matter to my existing setup (Pi4 running HA, Sonoff Zigbee controller/Zigbee2MQTT, Zooz Z-wave controller) in order to try out Ikea's new Matter switches. I have been doing a little bit of reading on Thread and Matter but I'm not sure which controller/hub would be best with my current setup.

It appears that a lot of these hubs include Zigbee and wifi radios, so would that interfere with my current Zigbee controller/network and/or wifi network (Pi is right next to my Wifi router)?

Secondly, is there a feature difference between different controllers? I saw the Aqara M100 as an inexpensive option, but I want to be sure it fully supports the feature of the BILRESA switches as I'd like to use the scroll wheels to control the brightness of my lights. Other options I saw were the Google Nest and Apple 4KTV, but I'd rather not use a Google product and don't have any Apple products in the house. I don't have a hard budget, but would of course prefer not to spend money that isn't necessary

Frigate stopped working after months with no issues

I currently have frigate running on my Proxmox server in an LXC running Portainer and it has recently quit detecting anything and sending out notifications when someone walks up to my house.

I sat down to do some troubleshooting last night and first discovered in the logs that it wasn't detecting my Coral TPU any longer but after reseating the USB cable and rebooting the container that issue is gone. Now everything 'appears' to be working properly but it still won't detect anything and I'm at a loss on how to proceed.

Checking the logs, no errors are displayed. I can see all my camera feeds on the main view. The config hasn't changed. My masks are still in place. I dont recall the exact names, but the Settings>'Status' (with the bar graphs) window shows the Coral TPU as connected and used and Settings>Debug windows shows red boxes around moving objects, but I don't see any detection events, no short clips, or any other indicator that it's working.

Edit: well this is stupid but it was a frigate update that caused the issue. With 16.0, you have to add "enabled: true" under "detect" for each camera to get object detection. I hadn't updated it for some time and didn't read the release notes.

Camera card setup

I've got several Amcrest cameras connected through Frigate (running standalone) to HA but I'm not sure how to properly setup the camera card so that the 'thumbnail' shown on the dashboard cards refreshes every so often.

Previously I had them connected directly to HA via the Dahua integration and set the camera streams as both the thumbnail image and as what's displayed when you click the card and this all worked fairly well (the thumbnail would refresh every few minutes) but now after switching to Frigate, the thumbnails have remained static since the day it was initially set up and never refresh and I'm not sure how to fix this.

The cameras are all PoE and connected to an Amcrest NVR which does the main recording while Frigate just sees the substream and uses it for object detection and remote viewing through HA. Clicking the camera cards allows me to view the stream but for whatever reason the thumbnails never refresh.

Comments not showing?

I'm migrating from lemm.ee and just created an account here but for some reason I'm seeing only a handful to zero comments on sh.itjust.works posts even when they show hundreds of comments.

I'm vaguely familiar with similar federation issues where you might not see old comments if you're the first person to subscribe to a community on a different instance, but I don't understand why I can't see comments on posts from what is now my native instance.

Can anyone clarify what's going on?
