Israeli soldiers reportedly torture one-year-old child in Gaza to force confessions from his father

Israeli soldiers have subjected a one-year-old child in central Gaza to torture to pressure his father into making confessions during an interrogation, Palestine TV reported, citing Palestinian journalist Osama Al-Kahlout.

It aired footage showing injuries to the child, identified as Karim, after he was detained by Israeli forces near the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza.

While taking his child to buy supplies, he was caught up in gunfire near his home and was forced by Israeli soldiers to leave his 18-month-old son on the ground and approach a nearby military checkpoint, where he was stripped and interrogated.

The forces tortured the child in front of his father, including burning one of his legs with cigarettes, pricking him and inserting a nail into his leg, as confirmed by a medical report.

The report said the child suffered burn marks from cigarettes and puncture wounds in his leg caused by the nail.

Imagine being capable of torturing a child? Hearing the screams and cry’s from pain that you’re inflicting and not having a reaction. Perhaps even worse and enjoying it?

That’s some evil shit right there.

something about religions and militaries only lead to institutions of the criminaly insane.

look at the crusades and you will see parallels.

They don't see them as children. They're just seen as "future terrorists", and someTHING that needs to be cleaned up for their God given destiny to be fulfilled.

17

Saying, they see them as future terrorists is unfair. There is only one reason you can do this kind of thing to a baby, and it's through Dehumanization. It's years snd years of this kind of propaganda.

What funnybis this bullshit creates terrorists.

Aulireply

They are literally the Nazis now. Doing the same that was done to them.

2

Infant, to be exact.

Funded and provided by the "pro-life" white supremacist Christian nationalist pro-Israel "God's divine plan" US government.

Okay, this is as evil as it gets. It's the sort of thing that if the soldiers that did this are not publicly executed, it proves everything people are saying about the IDF

45

Why would they be executed for this? They’ll be lauded as heroes in their morally depraved cesspool of a country

8

Completely disregarding this post, we've been made aware...

4

It's not even his book, he got someone to make it who he then didn't pay and then took him to court

Humanity i ask you direct, how much more of this stuff are you ok with?

When will people stage a sit in on the steps of the congress or knesset?

As long as its their side and god their good. Which is funny because all three of those shitty religions believe in the same God.

Could we develop some exchange rate, like for every instance of torture against a child, the offending party should be made to endure something like 10,000 instances of torture?

Israel already established the exchange rate.

Oct. 7th = 1,200 killed Gaza = 75,000 killed

One Israeli life is equal to 62.5 Palestinians.

Apparently.

11

This unequal exchange rate logic has been firmly established for decades.

"On October 18, 2011, captured IDF tank gunner Gilad Shalit, captured by the Palestinian militant organization Hamas in 2006, was released in exchange for 1027 Palestinian prisoners held in Israel."

List of Arab–Israeli prisoner exchanges -Wikipedia

"Palestinian prisoners" have become a form of currency for the Israeli state. Whenever they start to run low, they just go to the West Bank and get more.

But that isn't fair because how many did Israel kill before the attack? Israel has treated them like dogs for decades and people are shocked when they fight back? But I guess they would because the west seems to have lost all of their fight and we just accept whatever our overlord's do.

1

If people I worked with did something like this, I would stop working there.

6

Can we just get rid or Israel. I know blah blah blah bible bullshit bit they seem to be a horrible country. Maybe we can say opps our bad this experiment failed. For people who went through what they did they sure love to do the same to others.

>Palestine TV says the Israeli soldiers burned the child's leg with a cigarette, pricked him and inserted a nail to his leg.

Palestinian propaganda channels are not trustworthy. I would not believe this without a better source.

They stated the child was returned to family via red cross. You'd think the red cross would make a statement if they received a tortured toddler.

Also this was reported via Quds News network, which has a terrible rating on every factcheck site for blatant propaganda pieces.

1

The Red Cross doesn't make statements prior to investigation, and it's not like Israel is going to let them conduct one.

But there's literal footage of the wounds. Where do you think those wounds came from?

1

Oh also I should say, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories has warned that torture in Israeli prisons has become a "central tool" and that the Israeli detention system has “deteriorated… into something resembling a laboratory for cruel and deliberate practices” and they have documented severe treatment, including beatings, starvation, humiliation and other forms of inhumane practices. Among the detainees are included at least 1,500 children.

Israelis torturing a child to make a father confess is completely in character. They're a sick society.

Yah what bullshit sure might not be true but Israel isn't allow others to go in. And I'm sure not going to trust what fucking Israel says. But I guess they are a reputable source for you. Israel is the proven untrustworthy source.
