I had my minor qualms, but quite frankly I was just happy to see something that wasn’t garbage come out of the Predator universe.
It was garbage.
For movies it’s above AvP, The Predator, and Alien Resurrection for me 🤷
For comics… I mean have you read the comics? It’s better than most of them.
IMO even with all its problems Predators was possibly the best thing in the franchise.
If thats my take how will I feel about this movie?
I liked Predators too.
You’ll need to turn your brain off and accept that Disney is trying to setup a universe accessible to a younger crowd who might not be ready to see Predator at its bloodiest.
That said it at least gets creative with the violence it decides to show.
Besides if you want violent Predator, Killer of Killers wasn’t bad either.
If you think Predator movies should be more like Marvel movies this movie has you covered. Plenty of quips and goofy sidekicks.
This was a really dumb movie technically speaking; that I didn't hate watching.
It was a hot turd. It was a Disney animated movie that missed the big musical number. It was eye candy and that was all. They took a predator, gave it a language that we didn’t need to know, made a Wayland/Utani droid that just wanted to hug someone, a goofy animal sidekick, and the typical Disney “I’m mad at daddy” theme to superfuck all Predator, Alien, and Blade Runner lore. Fuck the shit outta this. Fuck. The shit. Outta this.
Lighten up, Francis.
