Easiest distro for elderly parent

I need a distro that is stable with a particular need to set up zero input automatic updates. If an update asks for a password or needs user interaction in basically any way it simply won't get done. All he needs is a reliable platform for browsing the web. I am replacing an Ubuntu system that has apparently just stopped working (I have not had a chance to examine it yet) after years and years of not getting proper updates after he forgot his password.

Something like Bazzite is intriguing because of it's locked down environment although he is very much not a gamer. Is there something locked down like Bazzite but with long term LTS release cycle?

Bands whose sound you like but lyrics you hate

I have a relationship with Jedi Mind Tricks that makes me a little uncomfortable. They sound good. I really like their sound but when you listen to their lyrics it is really awful. Lots of anti-gay, hateful and other stuff that is really not what I am about. I have settled into just listening to the music because it sounds good and ignoring the lyrics but it gets hard. I don't worry that the music is going to sway me to that viewpoint... I am not that weak willed. Really I just wonder how others deal with music they enjoy the sound of but feel uncomfortable about the meaning behind.

Any S3 compatible server where I can define where individual bucket storage is?

I have been using MinIO for my self hosted S3 needs but I now have a need to break up my backing storage into SSD for images and other small files and HDD for videos. From what I can tell this is not possible with MinIO and I would rather not run two instances if I can help it. Are there other self hosted solutions where this is easy to do?
