Upon the conclusion of hibernation in spring, the bear expels the fecal plug. This typically occurs near the entrance of the den and signifies the bear's return to its regular physiological functions. The expulsion of the plug is often one of the first activities a bear undertakes after emerging from its den, marking the end of its hibernation period.

Probably feels really good.

I loved this book when I was super young. I loved to envision all trees having something like this:

Berenstain Bears - The Spooky Old Tree

WTF?!? Is that kid escaping from their drunk dad??

No, they raised us to use our imagination, to have a free spirit, and enabled us to love each other unconditionally 🫂

What I would like to do in the winter as an adult.

There's a good little game where you play as a mouse in a burrow like this called Winter Burrow! I recommend checking it out :)

Man, i loved getting lost in those paintings and drawings as a kid. I still try, and sometimes I get a short moment of that feeling back.

The first thing my mind thought of when seeing this was the firekeepers home in Dark souls 2.

Very different vibe. I guess my pattern recognition just got jumpy when it saw a hollow tree with stairs like that inside
