The comparison I saw the other week said we would have grapefruit sized eyes. My head feels heavy just thinking about it!

Im surprised we dont see its retinas, seeing mow much light must be getting in

Hmm...I wonder if we'd just get glare from the tapetum without equipment. That's the membrane at the back of the eye that we see glow in the eyes of dogs/cats/deer/etc. It gives a wider area of the retina the ability to make use of available light in low light conditions.

On a side note, I did find a pic of an owl retina and it looks like Jupiter getting hit by a huge meteor! I'm not great on eye anatomy, but I believe the funny looking black part is the macula.

Fascinating. If you hadn't said that's an eye, I might have guessed it was something from space.

Very deep space or deep ocean vibes. Also vaguely looks like an octopus eye.

That seems to be the consensus here that red is best.

I think I tend to focus more on how they blend in to their background rather than the actual color. I guess that puts me on team invisible Screech is best.
