How do I clean one of these? (tenis ball lookalike for dogs)
Purchased one of these to give to my friend's dog, but it kinda came out of the store with these black hairs(?) and some muddy(?) parts. Didn't find anything on the internet on which products should I use and how do I clean one of these, so...
It’s for a dog, that likely puts far worse than a couple of black hairs in its mouth, I wouldn’t bother honestly.
I mean, it's a gift, so I'd rather hand it to 'em on a good state.
Dogs have no concept of "gifts".

Who cares what the owner thinks? It's for the dog, and the dog isn't going to care about a little hair.
The owner gets to decide whether OP's presents go through to the dog, and in the extreme case whether to continue being friends with OP.
A dog's owner is their guardian. It's important to get their buy in if you want to give their dog something. This is perfectly reasonable.
Well IMO it's prudish and petty to turn down a toy for your dog because you don't like that it has a hair on it. But I understand what you're getting at.

If this is specifically made for dog use then they presumably used a dog-tooth-friendly material for the fibrous cover.
It would be a bad idea to presume that,,because almost no dog toy company is ethical enough to care - and owners aware enough to be concerned wouldn't risk buying a tennis ball regardless.
My brother's dog has a pretend tennis ball that it isn't that psyched about. I didn't know it wasn't allowed to play withreal tennis balls, and this dog was so psyched when it got to play with the real one, like its eyes were saying, "really???!!!!"
I mean honestly I don't know how much I believe this. My stupid dog chews on rocks and sticks. I'm positive that a little fuzz from a tennis ball isn't going to hurt her. Maybe if that was literally the only thing I ever allowed her to chew on and all she did was consume the entire tennis ball and multiple times I'm on multiple times yeah I could probably hurt. But dogs have been chewing on tennis balls as long as tennis and dogs have been around.
No I'm pretty sure that's not it. My dog is happy healthy she's nearly 10 years old at this time. My previous dog that sadly passed away at the beginning of the year was nearly 12 and he was one of the happiest most wonderful dogs ever. Fucking cancer sucks.
You don't, it's a ball for a dog. Whatever shape it's in now will be infinitely better than 2 seconds after the dog gets a hold of it. 😉
I still wanna hand it to my friend on a good state. I mean, you would feel weirded if someone gave you a VERY dirty thing as a gift, right?
(PS: I like to joke on how her pup will "swallow the whole ball" since he is so playful)

i've had success with the dishwasher.
I would use a brush with some soap and water to clean it. Most anything with bristles would do the job I think. Could just be how it was manufactured though.

I've heard people say that dogs shouldn't be given tennis balls because the hair traps sand and dirt which is bad for their teeth.

Dab it with a strip of duct tape.
To get rid of any lint or hairs on it, simply stick and pull masking tape on the ball. Otherwise, just rinse in water

I wash my dog's toys in the dishwasher, the ones she doesn't destroy first.
