Just let us invade, build a couple schools and we will leave like we always do.

15

If "us" here is the Canadians, yes please invade the US, build some schools, and leave. We'll even let you burn down the white house again if you want

42

Lol like we'd build schools. More like demolish the schools and hand a zero bid contract to themselves to build private "schools" that use children as slave labor.

12

Yeah, right, all those countries the US has invaded over the years have just loved it and look back at the results with fondness.

Not hearing someone say no the first 100 times is definitely the sign of a rapist.

Release the Epstein files!!

Just saying, the Canadian's unwillingess to join the dumpster fire that is the US has only gotten stronger over this year. Also, Canada is a very, very, very big country to occupy even for the US military and it shares a HUGE border with the US. On a side note Ukraine is way smaller and still keeps blowing up Russian military and energy infrastructure deep inside Russia with drones despite having lost so much to Russian bombings...

The USA couldn't even beat a bunch of terrorists with Toyota Hiluxs and rusty soviet weapons. What makes them think they'll succeed in Canada?

Logistics. But the resistant insurgency will carry on for living memory, even after this shit is put down.

Yeah we shouldn't lie to ourselves. There's just no way we can match the US's military power in a conventional war, and the geography makes our cities, farmland and resources easily accessible to their forces.

But the guerrila warfare is what would get them leaving. It's just a question of being patient, like the Talibans were.

And what would these guerillas arm themselves with?

-2

What does any guerilla arm themself with? Usually firearms, bought or even given to them by foreign groups or governments, or taken from the enemy through hit and runs.

What could go wrong, annexing a country with strong national identity and increasing ideological separation from the authoritarian shithole to their south? Hey, it worked in Austria back in 1938. I mean, the Austrians supported the idea but that’s just a matter of time for Canada, right?

This spray-painted animate turd needs to go.

8

You know that the vast majority of Albertans are opposed to annexation by the US too, right? You don't get to "offer" us to that shitgibbon.

Also we don't want any states in Canada. Even the bluest of states would represent a massive conservative voting block riddled with guns and crime. Let them sort their own problems out.

New Englander here, can we go too? Joining New Brunswick would be ideal but we'll join Quebec if we have to (though I doubt the Quebecoise would have us).

I think all of New England could be a province. These days, there's not much point in being such small states.

It's fine to take this opportunity for to review the governance and structure, but I think you should look at Prince Edward Island. This province has about 150k people. And there are 4 other provinces with under 1 million people (going by the 2021 numbers).

2

Well that should convince the last of the Canadian snowbirds to divest themselves from whatever winter assets they've been holding on to. RIP Florida and Arizona housing markets - they won't be back for at least a generation.

7

It should, but months of annexation threats should have been enough earlier on.

Send them a counter offer, 13 states, all government documents must have a French version applicable by law and all communications must be done bilingualy. Just to see how fast they chicken out!

3

No. No offers, no deals, nothing to "normalize" this travesty.

51ST STATE

edit: by New Model Army. Weird, people seem to have forgotten this song/band. All through the 90s it was a popular part of any guitarish DJ set.

How about we just take Quebec off your hands?

Now, that's the art of the deal, problem solved.

Unless you live in Quebec, then my condolences because it's about to get real rough for you.

For starters, you can't even spell québécois with the real American alphabet.

Their use of tidles alone is just cause for annexation and reeducation.
