The story kinda went off the rails in the second half, but compared to most anime I thought it was very not-weird (put it alongside Bakuon, the only other motorcycle - related slice of life anime I know of, and it's the paragon of normality)
The scene that really throws me off is when the younger girl falls into the river, and then main-girl puts her in the cub's basket and drives her home. No vitals check, no hospital visit, no sense of worry at all. It's really ridiculous lol.
Compare that to Bakuon, though, where a young cross-dressing servant travels through time to empart proper motorcycle cornering technique, and the never-aging spirit of pure riding appears to be a teenage girl who can't take her helmet off.
100%. In my experience it's just the Harley-or-die cats and squids with those kind of bad takes. Thankfully there's more to the two wheel world than just those two demographics.

Loved mine, I used it exclusively as a race bike, but I'm thinking of unretiring it as my Dax is a little small for two up duties.
