Entire new season will air on September 15

According to sources 1, 2, and 3, the new Season 10 (or 13 if you count wrong) will consist of ten episodes, all of which are going to air on September 15. Here's what I was able to gather:

I can't keep this straight anymore. Is this new season also basically half-a-season?

  1. The original run, ending with "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings" where Fry writes an opera about Leela.
  2. The film run, ending with "Into the Wild Green Yonder" where the Planet Express crew is on the run from Zap and enters a wormhole.
  3. The Comedy Central run, ending with "Meanwhile" where time freezes for everyone but Fry & Leela who live a life together until the Professor resets everything.
  4. The Hulu run, ongoing. Both seasons so far ended with a Fry/Leela love story that give off a "finale" vibe. I expect the show won't be renewed and whatever finale is next will end this era.

I honestly don't look forward to the new season. I think I'll skip it. Even though I love futurama. But last season was rather meh. Some few moments were funny, but not that I can recall episode plots.
