yeah I looked him up too; that china stuff is weird. I thought he would be right wing at first but he clearly isn't. i don't know where the obsession comes from, but at least he's advocated for green economy and workplace democracy. so the China stuff doesn't seem to be your average Joe's red scare. and even at face value those are policies right wingers would never even pretend to advocate for.

They are literally building a concentration camp in the middle of a swamp, with a literal alligator infested moat, reasoning that the alligators will eat anyone who tries to escape.
They're doing this with the money that is supposed to go toward flood and hurricane shelters.
It's a little worse than that, believe it or not. That site development was abandoned in the first place because of environmental concerns. So it's harming the Everglades, keeping it from draining as well, meaning it could actually cause worse flooding in a hurricane, FEMA funds being used to make disasters worse.
