Home page filled with suggestions

I know it's been getting worse but today I feel like Reddit refuses to show me my subscribed subreddits. I'm a member of close to 100 subreddits but my Home page is majority recommended posts and ads and almost no content from my actual communities even though they are very active and have content. I've been doubling down on hiding and "don't show me this again" guy I feel like it's making the problem worse.

Anyone else?

Y'all have the whole rest of the Fediverse to not to talk about Reddit. This is the one community that is supposed to discuss it. Fuck off.

Are you browsing on a desktop? I don't see ads and suggested communities/posts with UbO enabled.

I haven't used it in a while, but I remember the experience being pretty good (dependent on your subs) when browsing 'old' mode, with ublock on to clean it up. Hopefully the former is still supported and the latter is still not prevented.

Yeah I forgot to mention I am using old.reddit. Combined with uBO, I've never seen ads or suggestions.

It's the endpoint of enshitification. Facebook and IG are like that for me. I don't see anybody that I know or the thousands of accounts that I follow. It's almost completely ads, suggested, and inflammatory content.

Easiest solution: Fediverse.

If still using Reddit 1~2 months later, maybe follow them through RSS? I remember coming across RSS bridge tools compatible with Reddit as I looked for other services.
