the left is literally about creating a stateless society. The term 'left-wing' comes from the French Revolution in which members of parliament who were against restoring the monarchy sat on the left side.
maybe have a look into left politics and theory before establishing that an entire philosophical set of ideas is 'authoritarian'.

Here on lemmy there are left communities and they are completely clear in their messaging that if you don't accept their narrative you're a liberal.
