  • Game of Thrones because the animation is awesome
  • Foundation because the animation is awesome
  • Breaking Bad because it's so short it would be more effort to skip it
  • Futurama because there's always a text gag and sometimes a visual one
  • The Simpsons (on the rare occasion) because every opening sequence is different
  • Black Books because I like the music
  • Better Off Ted because the Viridian Dynamics "advertisements" are funny

I loved the animation for GOT with the pop up mechanical castles! It also helped to give an overview of where the action would be for that episode, as well as looking really cool!

Also House of the Dragon with the embroidery being stitched (very apt for 2 female protagonists) and the mythology/world building of Valyria....

The Expanse. So much going on in that opening, plus it updates depending on what's happening in the series.

House of the Dragon usually has little tweaks to the intro each episode which reflect how the season is evolving.

4

any opening that is a minute or less can play. anything longer will be skipped.

My bf hated that music! I loved it and would get pissed off when he fast forwarded it, I used to look for the elephant and know the hip hop(?) beat would kick in (apologies, I'm not down with the young person lingo these days) 🤘

Brilliant show, actors and intro

2

House of Cards, I liked the music and I used to live there so liked seeing all the landmarks. Never watched past the first season though.

2

Not only would I never skip the intro, I often listen to it when I need a mood lift. 10/10 banger!

2

Game of Thrones, and I pointed out the weirwood tree to my wife every time.

2

The wording is correct! Though I would have made show plural, as a singular noun there implies a person can't have more than one.

I don't think I have one but I do get nostalgic for the old cartoon openings and often let them go. heman, mask, defenders of the earth, thundercats, etc.

You reached the end
