Agents are actually shit like this. Tons of actors don't even get to hear about great roles they were offered cause their agents are nose in the air. I remember hearing about actors agreeing to do roles together, only for one to get stonewalled by the other's agent who won't even put the person through.

Check out the beef between Bert Kreisher and Bobby Lee's agents. Guys have a blood feud over a thermostat setting 30 years ago. To the point of turning down lucrative shows for their clients because it'd fuck the other guy lmao

I get why he might hesitate to take another movie as Wolverine. You don’t want to keep pumping out mediocre echoes of the same movie until people are sick of it, and Logan was an excellent place to walk away from the character on a high note. I also think this is the perfect opportunity to play the character again, though. It’s been several years since we last saw Jackman as Wolverine, this is a movie pairing people have been begging for, it will likely feel unlike any other Wolverine appearance we’ve seen so far, and hopefully it’ll just be a standalone performance, and not some crazy attempt to start a new Jackman Wolverine series of movies.

Micheal Keaton is doing a Beetlejuice sequel. That's after doing 'Birdman' about how terrible it is to be typecast as a character for the rest of your career.

He came back as Batman in the Flash, which is a more direct comparison.

What annoyed me the most about that movie was that in the original comic version, the Batman of the new reality was Bruce Wayne's father. Bruce was the one killed in the alley; his Mom lost her mind and became the Joker. Dr. Thomas Wayne owned Gotham's biggest casino and employed the Penguin as his 'Alfred.' He used a dangerous and addictive formula to make him stronger. That was what I was hoping to see.

Wasn't he typecast as a family comedy guy until he did Beetlejuice with Burton, who got him a darker more gritty role as Batman?

Coming soon to Netflix: Deadpool and the Wolverine, the newest Marvel series!

After they wrested the Defenders series from Netflix, I doubt Disney would throw them a bone that big.

Get paid to hang out and work with friends and don't have to play the character as seriously? Sounds like a win-win

Yeah, this is a walk-off home run for the character and for Jackman. Not to say that he hasn't worked hard for this film, but hopefully this was the most fun he's had playing Logan, because he fucking deserves it.

27

If there was EVER a movie where they could conjure an excuse for Jackman to show off his Broadway chops while in character as Wolverine, I feel like Deadpool is it.

🎼But you would finally live a little,
finally laugh a little
Just let me give you the freedom to dream
And it'll wake you up and cure your aching
Take your walls and start 'em breaking
Now that's a deal that seems worth taking
But I guess I'll leave that up to you

More mediocre Disney/Marvel dribble. Yei

Edit: Just realized what community this is. Enjoy Marvel ladies and gents. A little introspection will tell you I am at least partly right. Cheers

Aww man, you didn’t have to shit on the community on your way out the door; it could have been such a graceful see-ya. 😕

A little introspection will tell you going somewhere and telling people things they like are overrated is a douche move.

I've gotta admit, The Boys really ruined all classical superhero stuff for me. lol Granted, Deadpool is a little out there comparatively, but still.

You reached the end
