WhatsApp for family Discord for friends Slack for work iMessage / SMS for everyone else

Privately: Mainly Matrix, and sometimes SMS and phone calls. Also Messenger and Discord for specific people.

For work: Teams, Slack, e-mail and GitLab.

3

Personal: Signal mostly, for personal chats I do also have Telegram and WhatsApp. I am starting to use Matrix for community chats as I just discovered it.

Work: Microsoft Teams.

Only because my family uses it and won't switch to something more privacy minded, I'm stuck with facebook messenger on my phone. Otherwise, I can't really contact them since it's mostly messages through their accounts and not direct from their numbers.

2

Daily: Signal, email (mostly work related) Not daily but regularly: WhatsApp, Threema Edit: I forgot MS Teams, i have to use it daily at work.

2

Signal and whatsapp (due necessity) for daily life. Slack and email for work stuff. Rarely send personal emails anymore.

2

Discord for friends. Facebook Messenger for academics. Matrix whenever possible.

2

I use Signal and Matrix for my daily messaging and Discord for gaming. I am very happy that most people are aware of Meta.
