Is this app mostly Desis?

Seems like many of the posts are india focused posted by indians with indian commenters.

Just curious as a lot of the content may not be super relevant to me. (Not in a negative sense, I’ve spent a few pleasant months in india (not for work) and worked with many amiable indians and I appreciate the culture. Just looking for content relevant to me.)

Yes. Most of my replies have been by desis who reference things in India.

90% of our userbase is actually from the United States. Initially we had targeted the app towards Indians (since we're from here). But now it seems like reddits recent shenanigans have drastically increased users from other countries.

Feature request: ability to edit posts! I didn’t mean my question about foreign users in a racist sense- I meant from the perspective of it was originally supposed to be a local app and now it’s international

Yes, it's currently an oven at the office, mostly because we are afraid the servers will shut down /s

Yeah, I’m here for the aforementioned reason: 16 year old reddit account and this shit has just gotten out of hand — sort of the last straw. Looking for a good reddit alternative.

The app in his infancy was definitely targeted at india, it even has some ai translation to facilitate hinglish users, but there's also a lot of people that are switching from reddit that aren't from there. Personally I'm Italian.

Yeah I'm also a Reddit refugee and I'm from Ireland. I'm hoping this app is able to replace Reddit for me. I think as soon as we can create our own clans, activity will increase.
