Aw, my girl is 16, too! She’s been starting to have more health issues this past year. Hopefully, both of our cats have a few more good years left in them!

Since there's only like 25 clans right now and none of them are animal-related, how about starting with a broader scope and creating a clan called #Pets or #PetPics? My tortoise is awesome and photogenic, but he's not really a companion.

For that matter, you could just make #animals for now so people can post pictures, videos, questions, etc, about all sorts of creatures. Once traffic grows you can create sub-clans for different types of animals and whatnot, but I don't think it's a good idea to fragment this small community any more than necessary.
