Someone offers you 10 million dollars

Someone offers you 10 million dollars

But you can't write a single line of code for the rest of your life. Will you do take the offer?

Yes because I don't even know how to code anyway

You think I like coding?! It’s the middle-man to money, so of course I could do without it.

Heck yeah I'm taking the money. Also I don't know how to code.

Oh forsure. Even if I wanted to make my own startup I could just assign tasks anyway. Plenty of non code stuff to do.

As a programmer who does so purely for the fun of it (early retirement and all). Not being able to code for any amount of money seems like a horrible deal.

Exactly... For people like us, coding is more of a fun journey than just a tool to build stuff. We learn, we enjoy, we build.

Kinda hard to explain to someone who thinks of coding as a means to an end.

Of course. Retirement sounds great to me.

Imagine holding off on a 7 figure early retirement just to code these guys are delusional lmao

I can’t write a single line of code anyway. Thanks for the 10M

Imaging Zuckerberg taking this deal in 2003. 100 bil > 10 Mil sorry imma pass

2

10 mil? I'd just hire someone else

10 million dollars invested the right way will get me great dividends for the rest of my life without having to lift a finger. More so than any coding job. Where do I sign up
