What do you guys feel is a good net worth at 40 years?
I am going to be 40 next month and was wondering about this. What do you guys think. Would you rather live a chill life or maybe reinvest your hard earned money into a business.

If you don't plan on having a family then even 1L per month is enough for a very comfortable early retirement. Even less if you are okay with living in a tier 2 or 3 city. But with family? Sky is the limit. At least 10cr minimum.
Net worth can mean different things to different people.
Anything in the ballpark of 50cr at least of you plan on retiring rich at 40. Park those funds in some funds and you'll get 5-6L per month for the rest of your life.
1cr and I would relax hard at 40 🤌
Don't think too hard on your net worth I say. No amount of money can save your life eventually if you overstress yourself trying to earn more.
Focus on maintaing relationships with your family and kin. You'll find that more satisfying than material wealth.
Just my 2 cents
I feel anything in a ballpark of 2-3cr is a good amount to be able to start a small business. But I wouldn't leave my job. I'd work it has a side hustle first and then go all in once I'm ready.
