Just to add, just because it's new doesn't mean it can't be faulty or working incorrectly. It's your choice if it doesn't bother ya, but it does seem like a big "what if" type of situation to me especially if it's an apartment complex.

The date change fix works if you only have one watch but it still won't auto switch if you have two, at least it kept breaking for me. I ended up having to uninstall the wearable app, reset both of my watches, and then resync them to my phone for switching to work.

Corrosion on copper pipes is a pretty typical thing. It's a little more concerning if it's only around the joints. Without cutting a cross section to see if it is actually pitting however its hard to tell if replacement is totally necessary.

There's an app I use on my phone to turn mine off through Bluetooth as well. I noticed they will turn back on if the power ever goes out here so it's nice having the ability to turn them off without having to turn on my pc and go through steam.
