Taylor Swift - a community for Swifties and anything related to Taylor Swift

This community is on Lemmy.

It's an alternative to r/taylorswift, where people post news about her, or rumours and social media posts, as well as fan theories, reviews and discussions about anything related to TS. People can also post their experiences on tour or in any event related to her, and share merch pictures and their own creative stuff in honor to Taylor.

Swifties are welcome, and so are non-swifties (but there is zero tolerance for hate; not liking something is fine, but no hate).

The lyric change in Better Than Revenge is actually quite good

I like the new lyrics. I wish we still have the old ones, but the new ones are the best she could possibly pick for replacing the old ones. It has many meanings to it too, and still keeps up the attitude

The og lyrics are kind of slut-shamy, but the new lyrics are a lot less... and yet they still keep the same spirit of 'she baited him' and possibly still the same message of, 'what a hoe', although in a less direct manner.

Overall, it's the best thing Taylor could do (yk, to make sure people don't cancel her). But of course, I will still scream about mattresses.

BT headphones volume being weird

I recently got a new Sencor wireless headphones, but my issue with it is that the volume is weird. My phone is a Samsung Note 9.

Straight out of the box, the volume at the lowest level is loud. I would expect the volume to be enough to hear faint music and all background noises (like with wired headphones), but with my headphones, the volume seems to be moderate and I can't hear background noises clearly without having to fully mute my volume.

I tried disabling absolute volume in developer options, but while I was able to get the volume to act in a reasonable level, the headphone's local volume setting kept going to the minimum volume whenever my phone stopped playing any sound. It's quite annoying since I would have to adjust the headphone's local volume again and again. So it got rid of the first problem, but I ended up with a worse one.

I tried restarting and using safe mode, but neither worked.

Does anyone experience this too? Is there a permanent fix?

(Also as a side note, I posted this in reddit and got 0 replies; seems like the traffic's really going to the fediverse now. Well done!)
