$666 edition of Doom includes game box that, itself, plays Doom

This edition is available for Switch, PS5, Xbox > Series X/S and PC. The PC version, however, ships with a download code and not physical copies of both games. Preorders start on April 18 and end on May 18, with a release sometime after that.

For 666$, no physical game copy for the PC ?

I always find shitty when multiplatform deluxe limited editions are inferior on PC than on console, but here it's even worse: Doom 2 is THE PC game.

Whats his problem?

I have a mixed feeling about Gabe and Valve.

While I am insanely grateful for proton (even if it was strategically important for them, they didn't do it out of kindness of heart), some other stuff disturb me:

  • Valve being so lenient on CS2 skin gambling, hurting the young people
  • A steam account being un-inheritable, making you defacto a tenant of your games
  • The 30% percent cut, stealing money from devs
  • Gabe spending his money on multiple mega yachts, like every asshole billionaire, instead of making the world a better place
  • Gabe claiming to be a libertarian, like Elon and other pieces of shit

There is a smart and funny french comic on this concept: "Imbattable" by Pascal Jousselin

The author plays with all the rules/codes of the European comics, one character can go through pages, another uses their speech "bubbles" as weapons, one uses the perspective of the objets, and the hero "Imbattable" can go through the page's frame.

Castlevania: Dominus Collection Released Out Of Nowhere For Switch, PC & More

To save a click 😁

Castlevania: Dominus Collection brings together a trilogy of highly regarded Nintendo DS games for the first time on home consoles. Previously DS exclusive games, the collection contains Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. All three are fantastic, varied experiences with some absolutely beautiful pixel art, along with each of them having unique elements that set them apart from other games in the series.

As an added bonus, the Castlevania: Dominus Collection also contains 1987 title, Haunted Castle, which brought the Castlevania series to arcades for the first time, in a newly updated edition: Haunted Castle Revisited.

Steam Deck / Gaming News #10

Dave the diver DLC is limited in time AND not free...Ouch ! I am glad I have lost interest in the game :)

I am playing 3 games in parallel:

  • Battlefield 4. Discovered only 2 months ago. The game is 10 years old and the server have, at best, only 2000 people in it 😂. But it is great and achievements hunting is fun, quick quick before the servers close !
  • Control. It feels like "x-files, the game". It's mysterious, confusing and after all, enjoyable. The art direction and the fights are great.
  • Gris, my small game for the evening. Not really started but it's the replacement for my previous small game The Gardens Between which was .....ok. Enjoyable and short.

Ah, and I have ordered my Steam Deck 🙈

It genuinely upsets me that Valve spent their time and resources on another Dota variation

+100, my feelings exactly.

I am now 45. I tried Deadlock, was overwhelmed, some other player told me to "fuck off" through the vocal chat because I was in the wrong lane, I uninstalled.

Generally, I don't have time anymore to play online games that are about grind and skill. I don't want to play only one sort of game. I want a game with an end so that I can move to another one.

MOBAs were cool at the time of warcraft 3. Let's move on.
