Those who are old enough, do you miss these days?

I miss youth and the sort of reckless abandon and constant sense of wonder. The easy friendships and stuff. The discovery of learning tech. The tech was cool and new and dramatic but our tech is def cooler now.

Things are pretty cool now too if you look for it. Sure there are problems but there have always been problems. I look for things to trigger my sense of wonder and it still feels amazing. Just harder to find cus I'm more experienced and well traveled or whatever.

I dunno I was a goofball kid working at tech then and I'm a goofball kid in a old body oggling tech now too :D

Wildlife biologist here, Absolutely.

Oddly enough I usually see/write it fen/bog marsh. There are tons of other qualifiers too, like salt marsh, tidal marsh and such.

The same applies for all 4 examples if it's needed. Salt swamps and fresh water swamps and such.

Nothing to see here. Just a pine cone.

Biologist here,
that pinecone pop is always fun, cus it's like unintentional biology lesson time when people do it.

It's by "design" (evolution) that they do that. So that the specific species can spread.

It's why fires are important for forests. Just you know not like 90 trillion fires in 1 summer...

It's also to give people something to do. Something to practice and focus on getting right. Gives hope and keeps people from getting caught in a panic loop.

Cockroaches are notorious coffee problems. A study found that many people who drank instant and pre ground coffee were allergic to coffee actually were allergic to the cockroaches ground up in it.
