Can you provide an example? I genuinely haven’t seen that but I live a relatively advertisement-free lifestyle. As a Tesla owner, I’ve never heard that from anyone in real life either.

This is actually available on the internet, here's the note for that episode:
S06 01 - Yuppy Love (Music cuts restored) (TV/DVD/VHS)
There are actually a lot of episodes throughout with music-related cuts judging from the list I'm looking at.

Moving external DNS server to VPS
I wouldn’t bother with the VPS if you could use a managed service like Route 53 in AWS.

I have one to watch my garage and one that points at my dog’s crate. The most action someone will see is my naked legs walking past the crate. Not really an issue to me either imo.

I have the RG35XX, install black seraph’s GarlicOS on it and it’s perfect. The stock OS is terrible in comparison. It runs everything very well and can output to a TV if you want. Also, I’d trash the no-name sd card it comes with and provide your own.
Also it will not play DS, forgot to mention that. As there’s no analog stick you won’t be able to play n64 either, but otherwise it’s incredible for almost every other ps1-era and earlier system.

I have a 2023 Model 3 Performance that I got in February. No build issues, only problem is my wife curbed the rims (lol) which seems to be common as the rims extend past the tires and they are low profile. No comment on her parking abilities.
The speed and power is amazing, the car works well, and the software updates have been good.
Things to remember: -NACS is only available in Teslas at the moment and is becoming the new universal standard in EVs in North America - do you want to choose another vehicle and have to use adapters for supercharging? -Other people work at Tesla, not just Elon. Those people are not Elon and have families to feed. -Tesla mobile service will fix your car in your driveway or at work or wherever (some other companies offer this but not all of them) -If you have a dog, dog mode is the shit

AppleCare+ replacement phone
Yes in that case you will just need to pay the “deductible” for the phone model you have.

Autopilot is not FSD. I agree the advertising of FSD is poor, but the FSD you’re thinking of is in beta, opt-in only, and also tries to force you to pay attention.

This is FUD. You must pay attention at all times when using Autopilot, the car begs you to do so. Not paying attention is equivalent to setting cruise control in any other vehicle and closing your eyes.

Ok, counter point is this: https://electrek.co/2023/01/17/real-story-behind-tesla-staged-self-driving-video/
“The engineer added: “The intent of the video was not to accurately portray what was available for customers in 2016. It was to portray what was possible to build into the system.” Elluswamy also confirmed that the Autopilot team put the video together as a “demonstration of the system’s capabilities” at the request of Musk.”
I do remember that video and did not take it as an advertisement of what the product would do in 2016.

Do you own a Tesla? Basic autopilot is merely lane keeping combined with automatic cruise control. The car begs you to pay attention when you turn it on. Would you turn on cruise control and then take a nap? It’s the same thing. Users of autopilot need to pay attention at all times.

If the EU knows what it’s doing, why are they only using phone OSes from US based companies? I’d argue that they don’t know what they are doing at all considering they have made extremely little contribution to the space and yet want to regulate those products. Imagine the kind of trash they would have to use if the US companies pulled out of the EU.

And I’m not saying those changes are necessarily negative, I’m saying that the EU is overreaching when they contribute very little at this point. And if you really want to talk about how you “do things differently”, without the US you’d all be using PutinPhones in 2030 and have no environmental regulations at all lol.
If you’re worried about the environment you should be looking at industrial waste from China, not Apple phones.
