Going opposite directions at night, what should men do if approaching a woman?

Anyone else feel really allienated when people act like it's normal for women to have an anxious breakdown in the presence of, or interacting with a dude?

I don't want to downplay what some go through, or the trauma that people relive, but it's not normal or healthy to be living in constant fear of the opposite sex.

For all the guys who feel like their presence is an active threat to the women around them: just be normal. Be courteous, but don't treat them higher, or lower, than anyone else you meet. Feels weird I have to say that

Those of you who have a gift or a passion that doesn’t pay enough to be financially independent and have a job to pay the bills, what does it look like?

I think it's that way for many, manyyyy things. It was what I felt learning professional timberframing (in the Japanese tradition). Online there is an incredible abundance of information, plus admiration of handtools, especially by professionals, but in the real world they are used very lightly, and the skills developed fine tuning them do not apply as much as you think.

I was expecting to beat my chisels like mad, but we mostly just pare (slicing cuts) with them.

Honey

I feel like instead of a giant push for veganism, there should just be a push to eat what's sustainable.

Beef and dairy? Causes huge amount of greenhouse gasses and with current methods of production, it is not sustainable

Blue fin tuna? These things have been way over fished and are endangered. Not sustainable, just try it once and move one with your life.

Tilapia ? These things grow like weeds and can be fed efficiently. Go ahead, good source of protein for your diet.

Honey? We need bees and they are an important pollinator for crops. Go nuts (just watch your sugar intake}

Almonds? Takes huge amounts of water to grow and exacerbates droughts in the areas they are farmed. Eat less of these.

Potatoes? Grow stupid easily in all sorts of conditions. Go nuts.

Iphone 15

Apple could potentially force users to use a proprietary apple USB c charger instead of any random one. This can be done via a lockout chip inside of the cable itself that only apple produces and is already done on apples lightning cable (super cheap sketchy cables may not charge or have features missing).

Additionally the USB c port on iPhones will only run on USB 2.0 speeds, a standard from the year 2000 (yes, 23 years ago).

Do you think people want a job where they have to listen to you bitch that you don't have enough pickles on your burger out of the goodness of their hearts, Janice?

My mom talks about this shit all the time "flipping burgers isn't a job!", and demeans a shit load of other service jobs. She says those are just for teenagers to buy a car or to save for college (as fuckin if).

But theoretically, if they were only for teenagers and broke college students, you really think those millions of jobs would all be filled by people between the age of 16 and 24? Seriously?

Boomers are living in a fucking dream

Peak dystopia indeed

The police would have infinite times more trust if they weren't so hell bent on incriminating innocent people. From lying and coercing to you to get a confession, trying to search your home and vehicle without warrants and setting up traps that innocent people may fall for like this. There is no trust in the police because trusting them is the worst thing you can do.

Obligatory reminder to never speak to the police without a lawyer, they will use anything you say to attempt to convict you.

Trump wins.

I voted for Harris but I can't help but feel democrats did this to themselves. We've held a decent amount of power over the last 20 years but have done shockingly little. Just slowly letting our country dry and shrivel, leaving people increasingly desperate. Times like these make people seek change, ANY CHANGE, including voting for a dictator. Status-quo politics will fail every time during times like these. Who wants to die slowly?

All authoritarian countries are born from desperation. Chinese communist party, Nazi Germany, the USSR, Iran, North Korea and soon America.

I didn't know where else to ask rule

I've done them with a straight razor and it all comes down to technique and sharp blades. Sharp blades are most likely to cut hair than skin on a flat surface. Make sure to either use a new blade or strop your SR

Firstly cook your nuts, really steam your boys. You want them very warm and relaxed so you can gently pinch, stretch and wrap the loose skin around your finger. At that point it becomes much more accessible. I recommend doing this sitting. If using a straight razor use a steep, less aggressive angle.

For weed wacking around a post, pull it tight and if its too slippery, use a single slip of toilet paper to hold on. Once everything is in tension you may tread carefully with your razor(s). You may need to pull it in many directions to reach every spot.

That will get 50-70% of hair. For the rest I recommend squatting over a mirror. Again, make sure to pull everything in tension before hand and get everything very hot and steamy. Pubes are like spaghetti, they're softer when cooked.
