Interesting. What is really causing the rapid decline

General rule for posting stock prices: sometimes things are obvious when you zoom out a bit.

In this particular case, Reddit stock price is still up several percentage points from the Trump rally that affected just about every tech stock after 2024-10-30 about. Same applies to other stocks like Tesla.

So at this point it's nothing more than a return to normal. No need to attribute anything more to it. But sure, if this descends keeps going for some time more, it'll be different.

Reddit Is Restricting Luigi Mangione Discourse—but It’s Even Weirder Than That

[email protected] restricts saying anything even vaguely anti-russian in a time when Russia is effectively trying destroy the west. At the same time, they're allowing rather blatant anti-west sentiment. And I'm not saying that that's fundamentally bad, but rather that there is no such thing as unbiased.

Reddit sure sucks and needs to die though. But their bias of not supporting murder is somewhat understandable.

The real problem is not Rust, or that somebody decided to rewrite sudo in Rust. These are both good things.

The actual real problem is that Ubuntu adopts these in their mainline distribution when the release version is 0.something. I mean sure, this will get the worst bugs noticed and fixed sooner but come on. Have a little empathy for your dumb users. They didn't choose to be that way.

How to delete Facebook, Instagram, and Threads | TechCrunch

How to delete is not the problem. That's the trivial part. In fact, you don't even need to delete your account. Just stop using it and it's practically the same effect.

The problem is how to get your friends and acquintances out of there. Lots of things are there and only there. Like for instance, it's my jujitsu club's main place of information. If I quit FB, I will no longer know what's happening there.
