Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was a depression-fest because its writer is 'from Poland and people in Poland are sad. They are born sad, they die sad, so I just wanted to make the whole world sad'

I guess people aren't all that familiar with the world of Cyberpunk 2020/2077 if anyone expected any type of happy ending. Cybering yourself inevitably leads to cyber psychosis, with no exceptions. Even Adam Smasher is rated as a "high functioning cyberpsycho", and may be unique in that category. Getting into a gunfight is rarely survivable, black ice will flatline you eventually, and brain dance addiction comes for everyone else.

Wisconsin Supreme Court orders new legislative maps for 2024

Some of the comments in the article are quite humorous. How can Justice Rebecca Bradley say with a straight face that the WI Supreme Court is undermining democracy when the republican party candidates got just under 45% of the total statewide vote but still somehow have 2/3 of the seats in the legislature? Democracy surely is being undermined, but I don't think Ms Bradley is focusing on the right things.

How could you forget Power Girl?

According to character writer Jimmy Palmiotti, "Okay. When the character was created, Wally Wood was the artist that drew Power Girl, and he was convinced that the editors were not paying attention to anything he did. So, his inker said "Every issue, I'm going to draw the tits bigger until they notice it. It took about seven or eight issues before anyone was like, "Hey, what's with the tits?" And that's where they stopped. True story."
