Solar Surpasses Nuclear Power Globally for First Time
Reply in thread
Nuclear fuel is the smallest fraction of nuclear waste. Every bit of PPE, every part replaced, tool used, etc is nuclear waste.
At the end of life the entire reactor and part of the building are nuclear waste. They go through them with a concrete mill and remove the inner layer of concrete because it has become radioactive.

Tested: Microsoft just debloated Windows 11 Search without Bing, and it's crazy fast
Only bad management is keeping everything from being crazy fast. No reason for today's programs to be slower than what we had a decade ago.

Germany Turns to U.S. Playbook: Deportations Target Gaza War Protesters
If you search for it, its only reported by two outlets. There is not a single German newspaper reporting this, including left wing or Berlin regional ones. Searching for the names in the articles returns no results linked to Berlin or Free Palestine at all. The name of the public official also turns up nothing.
Could be misinformation.

Just a reminder LLMs are incapable of even counting. They are a statistical model figuring out which tokens are most likely to appear next based on previous tokens.
Putting copilot in excel makes no sense whatsoever and MS must know people will use it and get completely wrong results.

To add, pretty much any kernel bug gets a CVE because everything wrong in the kernel could theoretically be abused.

I think NAT is one reason why the internet is so centralized. If everyone had a static IP you could do all sorts of decentralized cool stuff.
