Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell

Believe it or not Keynesian economic researchers at Stanford did a study in 2014 that concluded the eight-hundo Millennium Falcon lego is exponentially more unattainable than similarly priced consumer goods and they coined this market phenomena “Meesa-Utility-Theory”

Saving this! Who knows when it might come in handy…

Big Gulp

Its a stupid, stupid meme made when I was tired. I took the image from here https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/life-rsquo-s-first-molecule-was-protein-not-rna-new-model-suggests/. The article says proteins were the first molecules on earth. So the protein is saying hmm I should clump together eventually forming RNA to eventually becoming DNA so one day I can be in cubicle doing Pivot Tables all day but in meme form. I made this when wondering WHY DID SINGLE CELL ORGANISMS ETC EVOLVE…THE WONDERS OF EVOLUTION…ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS LEARNING AGRICULTURE, MARKETS, FIEFDOMS, KINGDOMS, EMPIRES, INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION…INFORMATION AGE…all this so we are required to sit in a box all day looking at a screen to be able to afford to live…so I blame it on protein. Based on the proteins misfolded comments I picked the wrong image lol. Lol I saw this call to action to make more content for Lemmy so…next time I’ll do better haha

Make sure yt-dlp is up to date. I’ve been able to download reddit, YouTube shorts, TikTok, videos etc just fine

I want to make GIMP work for me but it’s the small things like trying to select a layer and move it with the arrow keys but the arrow keys instead are incessantly switching between layers for some reason? I find the fussiness of layer selection among other stacked layers in your canvas frustrating also.

I wish there was a plugin that made everything work exactly like Photoshop, made all keyboard shortcuts Photoshop user friendly, added content aware fill, etc…if these issues would be fixed then I’d use it more often. (I found and tried to install PhotoGimp for my Gimp install on my Mac but alas it didn’t work…recommendations?)

Why don’t you have thisss
