Amazon is making its employees come back to the office five days a week

It's easy to avoid buying things from Amazon. It's hard to avoid AWS. It would be insane to try to suss out what provider everyone that I buy stuff from uses, and their third party relationships. Regulation is better.

‘Don’t Mess With Us’: WebMD Parent Company Demands Return to Office in Bizarre Video
As a consumer, I will now forever remember that WebMD's C Suite is most interested in "crushing their competition" and being heavy handed with their employees. I once thought that they were concerned about the betterment of societal health. This is how you lose your most performant employees.
I can't believe they published this to a publically available platform like Vimeo. Did they already lose their Marketing executive?

Trump will dismantle key US weather and science agency, climate experts fear
The headline gives far too much attention to Trump and buries the lede. If there is another Republican president, they will be expected to toe the line. This is the initiative of Project 2025. This is the Republican playbook.

The antibiotics are used so that the chickens don't contract infections and die from living in inhumane conditions.
This change allows them to increase their profit margin at the cost of animal welfare.

voting this year so voting continues to be a thing

I was just thinking today that this will never go away. I then realized that this ideologic poison has existed far longer than I have, and will sadly exist much longer than I will. I'm not sure what to do with that other than always stand up when I can, do what I can, and hope for the best. We have great potential.

The EPA and FDA set limits and regulate pesticide, herbicide, and antibiotic use. A raw or paleo diet probably won't help much without both agencies.

Republicans add new threats to impeach Austin and Garland, along with Biden and Mayorkas
It amazes me that we've gotten to the point where our elected representatives act like petulant children. Was this a misstep, yes. That is all it was though. A mistake was made, a process was reviewed, changes were made. This is how adults handle mistakes.
