One In Five Drivers Switches Off The Safety Tech Meant To Save Their Lives

Pro tip, if you signal when you change lane it stops the wheel vibrating. As a bonus it lets other drivers know what you're planning on doing.

2k though? That's not a small chunk of change. That would wipe out a lot of people's savings. In the example it's nuking half your savings. What if your car blows up tomorrow and the dishwasher breaks?

You should not take photos of people in public?
Since when did street photography become illegal over here? I know it is much of Europe, but I was under the impression that we worked under the assumption of no reasonable expectation of privacy in public places.
Or is it just illegal for assilum seekers to do it?

So taking photos of people in general is still fine, but going after one person and taking lots of photos of just that person isn't.

Are weight-loss drugs technically weapons of mass destruction?
Another question, should we be using weight loss drugs when we're already concerned about the amount of carbon being released into the atmosphere?

Everyone should get fat as a carbon sink?
Now that is something. If everyone in the world just put on 10kg we'd lock up about 83 mega tones of carbon. Then we just need to bury people in a way that gets that carbon locked up on the ground.

In the UK we call it a dead cat strategy.
There is one thing that is absolutely certain about throwing a dead cat on the dining room table – and I don’t mean that people will be outraged, alarmed, disgusted. That is true, but irrelevant. The key point, says my Australian friend, is that everyone will shout, ‘Jeez, mate, there’s a dead cat on the table!’ In other words, they will be talking about the dead cat – the thing you want them to talk about – and they will not be talking about the issue that has been causing you so much grief.[1]

Seven-year-old boy denied passport by UK Home office over Star Wars copyright infringement for Skywalker name | Malay Mail
He says his son was eventually issued the passport and the family’s vacation is still on.
Sounds to me like someone so the passport office was just being an idiot and when their supervisor looked into it it was resolved.

This honestly wouldn't surprise me
As a non American this reads as satire, but from what I hear about the US work culture I really can't be sure.

I entered into an agreement with a car manufacturer to be able to sell their cars in the UK. After I had people place orders (and pay) for a bunch of them the manufacturer decided that they were no longer supplying cars to the UK. Forcing me to issue my customers with refunds.

That feeling when even Elon Musk thinks you're insufferable
So as a likley post menopausal human. JK Rowling no longer belongs to the 'sex class woman' and likely has no 'sex class'.
