Same. Been using Solus for 8 years. Really no issues.

I clip it up out of the way when I’m not using it. Usually I try to sink the hang points about 1ft from the ceiling. Trying to put most of the force down on the wall as opposed to pulling outwards. Gives a good, slack hang.

I actually just discovered this as well with my KR1. I took the pocket clip off of it though, so I’m not sure if that was a factor. It still has a separate o-ring for the tail cap so I wouldn’t have thought so. It was doing a tail stand in my shower when it started acting oddly like you say. Took it apart to find the tail cap had flooded. Still love it, though will be wary from now on.

I need to get a top quilt. Which did you go with?

Unfortunately not. A mule version would have been really cool though. I've got to be honest, I'm not sure which driver I got this with. I chose the frosty optic so its really nice and smooth.
