Wow, at the start of this comment i thought you were just being overly negative, but one by one, each point crushed me a little more. it's so sad what's become of this once great little product. The special power supply is a complete and total deal breaker for so many reasons. that eliminated so many use cases for me. And the lack of a standard hdmi port (or even usb c video output) is just the shtty cherry on top.

gamescope through the heroic launcher is WAY better than steam

it's incredible how out of touch this community is with the average end user. I'd wager that MOST people don't know how, much less want to set custom flags for every one of their games. Believe it or not people actually like using nice GUIs and rely on simple intuitive frontends, and it's a massive failure on Valve's part considering they're the largest, most mainstream PC gaming platform.

yes! all of these religions are outdated and not suitable for the world we live in now. Islam is no better or worse than any of the other abrahamic religions, (can't really speak on the others as I'm not as familiar). A lot of terrible people just use religion as an excuse to exert their will on others.

you're always sending and receiving data, that's why it's illegal the whole time. That's what the little tab that says "ratio" is measuring, the ratio of hownmuch your uploading vs downloading. Afaik it's pretty much impossible to use p2p file sharing without participating in spreading the files

Rumored PS5 Pro Will Have 'Spectral Super Resolution,' Whatever That Means
Reply in thread
I wouldn't ignore this kind of news. When consoles get new features, developers start using them. Consoles shape the direction of game development. For instance, the ps5 coming with an SSD encourages developers to ignore the limitations of HDDs, which leads to games that are designed around the usage of an SSD to load a lot of content quickly and seamlessly. Cross platform and ported games benefit the most from this

it's not that he "wont sign it". lmao. its that he comoketely unprovoked started a hate campaign against it, literally on the spot hearing about it on stream, directed his viewers not to engage with the petition and started making up a bunch of reasons while talking in that confident-but-clulesss voice about how its destructive and awful and short sighted, making up a bunch of atuff about it that was immediately disproven, just spewing all this vitriol for no reason. Not engaging with it is one thing but actively fighting against a wonderul consumer rights campaign like this, not to mention how important iy is to gaming history to be able to preserve games, is so anti-gamer i dont understand how he ever got a following. Hes a dipsh who talks out of his butthole and he appeals to the kind of lobenly nerd that thinks being an asshole is cool

Texas poised to get America's first bullet train
Reply in thread
Houston and Dallas are blue enclaves you absolute dip. The people who live in those cities contain almost all the good people of Texas. Austin too. "The terrible people of Texas" so all the people of texas who aren't Republican are just nothing to you? This is a huge state with a ton of diversity in culture and opinion. The Texas GOVERNMENT is full of terrible people, and there's enough terrible people to vote them in, but not every Texan I'd automatically terrible. An absolutely massive portion of us hate what's happened to our beautiful state.
