Apparently they also think that humans are particularly large and somewhat useless cats

Tech's broken promises: Streaming is now just as expensive and confusing as cable. Ubers cost as much as taxis. And the cloud is no longer cheap

I would argue it's easier just in significantly different ways - the Arr stack of applications take more effort to learn and setup initially, but once you have it's absolutely effortless.

Valve: don’t expect a faster Steam Deck ‘in the next couple of years’

If you can deal with the issues of grey import, it's trivially easy to get one here now. I got a 64gb from Kogan, and since I'm rolling the dice with warranty - did a 1tb SSD upgrade myself.
Definitely happy with my purchase it's an awesome machine

What's a wet bulb?
Reply in thread
Used for humidity measuring instruments primarily, like a psychrometer.
Basically using a wick or wet material and forcing air over the sensor will evaporate the water and lower the temperature reading. Compared to a dry thermometer you can work out humidity.
A very high wet bulb temperature would mean very high humidity, which is dangerous for people as sweating is less effective.

Opinion: Why it’s time to raise the speed limit in Australia to 130km/h
Reply in thread
I recently had a holiday in NT and the 130kmh speed limits make such a difference. Definitely felt a lot less fatigued than I expected I would for the distances I drove
Definitely think some highways in other states could be worth increasing the limit

It's true but from what I have heard it can be a bit of a ball ache getting the warranty with them, but that's par for the course for grey import so nothing really special about Kogan. They may have a better reputation than most, but with an import you accept it could be a hassle.
That said, I think going with the cheapest and upgrading the SSD is the best choice.
Also wouldn't hold my breath that if/when a local steam deck is released, it will be at all competitively priced.

It sure is! The only two things I mention for people thinking of doing it:
But other than that it's a piece of cake and plenty of guides getting the os on the new drive.

Yeah we can't literally know what cats are thinking, but humans do tend to anthropomorphise so we can't really help attributing our observations of their behaviour into what we believe they are thinking. Very egotistical of us.
My observation they think we are a bit useless comes from the 'gifts' behaviour of bringing things into the house. My cat brings in small lizards- thanks buddy! Could be any number of reasons they do it, but I find it amusing to ponder if he thinks I'm not good at hunting, so he better take care of this important cat business.
