I didn’t realize imax was still film. I figured it went digital with everything else.

You have to earn $115,000 a year to afford a typical house now in the US

In my area there always seems to be a cash buyer so even if you have a strong offer and are prequalified the seller isn’t going to pick you. They need to heavily tax non-primary residences and housing owned by companies. These robobuyers have destroyed any chance people have of buying a first home.

One definition of the verb “fit” is “to experience or be affected with a seizure and especially an epileptic seizure” so the joke is the dad is interpreting the mom’s statement as the kid no longer having seizures. - Peter Griffin

Messed up
Remember it takes 10000 hours to master something so if you spend 10 hours a week trying to pick up 13 year olds starting at that age, you’ll finally master it at…… 32

What is the top-rated all-in-one printer brand that features an ink-tank system, avoids DRM restrictions, and offers seamless printing capabilities from Apple devices via WiFi?
I know brother makes tank printers but I’m not familiar with those models specifically. Every printer recommendation I’ve seen over that last few years is firmly pointed at brother. That’s a great starting point.

For me Uniqlo has taken a turn for the worse. Clothing I bought from them years ago is still in great condition. Things I’ve bought in the last year are falling apart and feel cheaper.

YSK: You can use a web-browser script to navigate Lemmy with keyboard arrows
I just started using this a few hours ago and it's a game-changer.
A few notes:
Go to https://www.tampermonkey.net/ to see the extensions for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Opera Next. The github page only links to chrome. I'm running it on Firefox and it works great.
Edit the lemmy instance it will work with by opening the extension and going to the Dashboard. Then click the Edit icon under Actions on the right. Add your instance in the ==UserScript== section. For example, I added lemmy.ml by adding the following line, making sure to include the *:
@match https://lemmy.ml/*
