This article is a not sense. There is not a monopoly of identity: a lot of corporations and big tech have an ID about us or, at least, about me.

Also, in my case, the state have paid most of my education, my healthcare, the street where I live... nor google not other big tech have paid a dime for it.

The critic in the article has his points, but the proposed solution—using capitalist enterprises to issue IDs—is nonsense. We will lose track of people from a fiscal point of view, and it will not solve the problem of the people that not any corporation would issue an ID.

YDI, at least in the community of the lemmy.blajah.zone instance. In the other communities, a long ban could be excessive, but it's not easy to judge that the transphobic[^1] post was done in good faith.

The USA is not only supporting the genocide with money and arms; they (and the UK) have also been bombing the only state (Yemen) that has tried to fulfill the international principle of Responsabilty to Protect (R2P) and has deployed their naval army to prevent others states to do it and/or to help with the genocide.

For me, that's enough to speak of an Israel-USA-UK genocide.
